This is such a lovely piece that I had got to do during lunch! Let me know when you would like yours!

This is Jagua, after having waiting a couple hours. When you wash it off with water. The stains starts to appear shortly, with a blue black color. Then it will stain from 7-10 days!

Disclaimer he design for this was not my original art. The client asked for me to transfer their $70 already purchased design from another artist.

“Everyday”

My Scrapbook for Hypothetical art Inspired by recent Terrorism

Revised on 1/11/21

I’ve decided that as a youth in America. Where I have both freedoms and concerns. Where I have witnessed cases of tragedy. Where over the last couple of decades you hear about what looks to be the peak of gun mistreatment. When in every case It’s hard to move forward. It feels like a slowed reaction time, to adjust after having been faced with fear. To express my angst in artistic ways, as a result. I thought I would produce an artistic series: to romanticize the lives we re-enact daily and seam to occupy with the “mundane” tasks. I would like to demonstrate how precious our moments can be.

In these you see young adults doing ordinary actions, a still life of nothing in particular. Because the thought of better moments can overshadow other times we consider mundane in life. The irony of taking for granted our time alive is hard to grasp, that it’s almost a workout to face the situation.

For any scenario you put the character in, its the one story no one wants to be the subject of. The existentialism is ironic, that as real tragedy might seem. You don’t recognize the pain until it rears up once again in a way so potent and hard to ignore. I Hope to over power the irony with comedy and emotion. I want for the main character who looks on with an inquisitive eye to find meaning and peace in quiet times. And see the community around them for what it could be.

Not meant for skin?

Since then, having an art piece that can bring back such copious amounts of loss with it would take a very long time to present digestibly. A series of art would have to be beautiful because of the subject material. These pieces are inspired after the recent Saugus High School shooting. An event I recognize as more proof that we are combating our perceived system of life. We are combating a variable that leads to hardship and a messy recovery without expectation.

There will be no flash sheet that I can create with such passion. Instead I can try to create a reminder of community in it, and uncover the blurred importance of positivity.
